Warehouse Manager

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Warehouse Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Edinburgh.

Salary

£35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
• Lead, support and develop the warehouse team.
• Oversee goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure stock is controlled accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate workloads to meet production and customer deadlines.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy and service levels.
• Maintain strong health & safety and housekeeping standards.
• Work closely with production, purchasing and transport teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Ensure all warehouse records and systems are kept accurate and up to date.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or similar.
• Strong experience within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or an industrial environment.
• Proven team-management and leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confident managing workloads, deadlines and operational priorities.
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety requirements.
• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems would be advantageous.
• Forklift experience or relevant licences would be beneficial.
