Site Manager Job in Glasgow | Permanent Construction Role

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established construction business with the recruitment of a Site Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects run safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Monitor programme, quality and progress against project targets.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Maintain strong health & safety standards across the site.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Resolve site issues quickly and keep works progressing.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and commercial teams.
• Monitor labour, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Support project handover and completion.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within construction.
• Strong understanding of site operations and project delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good knowledge of health & safety requirements.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with clients and project teams.
• SMSTS would be advantageous.
• First Aid and CSCS would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
