SHEQ Manager Job (Manufacturing) - Edinburgh - Up to £60k

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established manufacturing business with the recruitment of a SHEQ Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Edinburgh.

Salary

£50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality activity across the manufacturing site.
• Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety, environmental and quality legislation.
• Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and quality issues.
• Implement corrective actions and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain ISO management systems and support external audits.
• Work closely with production and operational teams to improve safety and quality standards.
• Deliver SHEQ training, briefings and awareness initiatives.
• Monitor performance and provide regular SHEQ reports to senior management.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a SHEQ Manager, HSEQ Manager, QHSE Manager or similar.
• Strong experience within manufacturing, engineering or an industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of health & safety, environmental and quality management systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be highly advantageous.
• Strong incident investigation and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience conducting audits and implementing improvement actions.
• NEBOSH or similar health & safety qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to influence teams and promote a positive safety and quality culture.
