Senior Site Manager Job | Construction - Glasgow

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established construction business with the recruitment of a Senior Site Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations.
• Lead Site Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor progress, labour, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and commercial teams.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Manage health and safety, quality and compliance across site activities.
• Resolve site issues quickly and keep projects moving.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Support project handover and completion.

Skills & Experience

• Strong previous experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager within construction.
• Proven experience leading busy construction sites and managing subcontractors.
• Good understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site delivery.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Confident managing multiple trades and priorities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS would be advantageous.
• First Aid and CSCS would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
