Sales Manager – FMCG

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established FMCG business with the recruitment of a Sales Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + bonus + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop sales activity across key FMCG customers and accounts.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Develop sales plans, forecasts and account growth strategies.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and promotional activity.
• Monitor sales performance, margins and customer profitability.
• Work closely with marketing, operations and supply chain teams.
• Identify market trends and opportunities for further growth.
• Manage sales pipelines and provide regular performance updates.
• Support and develop members of the wider sales team.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Sales Manager, National Account Manager or Business Development Manager.
• Strong background within FMCG, food, drink, consumer goods or a similar fast-paced sector.
• Proven track record of growing customer accounts and winning new business.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Confident managing pricing, margins and sales forecasts.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience managing major retail, wholesale or distribution accounts would be advantageous.
