Operations Manager – Engineering
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established engineering business with the recruitment of an Operations Manager.
Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.
Salary
Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of the engineering business.
- Manage engineering teams, workloads, resources and project delivery.
- Ensure projects and services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity and quality.
- Coordinate labour, materials, suppliers and subcontractors where required.
- Work closely with senior management on budgets, planning and business performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Support recruitment, training and development across operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and company procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Engineering Manager or similar.
- Strong background within engineering, manufacturing, technical services or a related sector.
- Proven experience managing teams and operational performance.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams.
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards.
- Confident working with clients, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and support business growth.
