Motor Service Advisor

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established automotive business with the recruitment of a Motor Service Advisor.

Permanent, full-time position based in Liverpool.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + company car + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle service and repair journey.
• Book vehicles in for servicing, maintenance and repair work.
• Discuss customer requirements and provide clear updates on work being completed.
• Liaise closely with technicians and workshop teams to ensure work progresses efficiently.
• Prepare estimates and explain recommended repairs and maintenance to customers.
• Manage service bookings and workshop schedules.
• Ensure all customer and vehicle information is recorded accurately.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support additional service, maintenance and repair opportunities where appropriate.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the process.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or similar would be advantageous.
• Experience within the motor trade, dealership or automotive industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confident dealing with customers by telephone and face-to-face.
• Good organisation and administration skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy automotive environment.
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and maintenance would be beneficial.
• Strong IT skills and experience using dealership or workshop systems would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required.
