Manufacturing Manager

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established metals manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Leeds.

Salary

£50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across the site.
• Manage production teams, supervisors and operational performance.
• Ensure output, quality, safety and delivery targets are consistently achieved.
• Plan labour, machinery and resources to meet production demand.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste and manufacturing efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance, quality and supply chain teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across production processes.
• Maintain strong health & safety standards across the manufacturing environment.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve performance.
• Support senior management with operational planning and business improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager or similar.
• Strong background within metals, engineering or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading production teams and supervisors.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Confident managing KPIs, productivity and operational targets.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
