Join a leading Construction and Civil Engineering contractor as a Health & Safety Advisor and play a crucial role in maintaining the highest safety standards on major UK projects.

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading Construction / Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a Health & Safety Advisor to join their project team in Perth & Kinross.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Salary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day Health & Safety advice and support to site management and operational teams
  • Promote a positive safety culture across the project
  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and client standards
  • Carry out daily and weekly site inspections
  • Coordinate safety documentation, briefings and inspections
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and communicate lessons learned
  • Review method statements and other project documentation for appropriate Health & Safety content
  • Deliver toolbox talks covering health, safety and wellbeing
  • Support health and wellbeing campaigns across the workforce
  • Manage and support implementation of the project’s ISO 45001 Safety Management System

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction or civil engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working independently and challenging unsafe practices where necessary
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Full UK driving licence
