Fire & Security Engineer Job in Aberdeen

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established fire and security business with the recruitment of a Fire & Security Engineer.

Permanent, full-time position based in Aberdeen.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain fire alarm and security systems.
• Carry out fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance.
• Work across systems including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.
• Complete system testing and commissioning where required.
• Attend client sites and provide a professional service.
• Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure work is completed in line with relevant standards and company procedures.
• Diagnose technical issues and resolve faults efficiently.
• Support upgrades and small works installations.
• Participate in an on-call rota where required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar.
• Good knowledge of fire alarm and security systems.
• Experience with CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of relevant industry standards.
• Confident working independently on client sites.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Relevant electrical or fire and security qualifications would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required.
