About the Role
The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and effective support across the wider organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is confident managing financial processes, producing reports, supporting commercial decision-making and working closely with senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts, reviewing financial performance, managing budgets, supporting cash flow forecasting, overseeing month-end processes and ensuring all financial information is accurate, timely and clearly presented.
The role will also involve working closely with internal teams to provide financial insight, identify areas for improvement, support business planning and ensure finance processes are efficient, compliant and aligned with company objectives.
This position would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and providing clear financial guidance within a fast-paced and ambitious business.
Essential Criteria
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Financial Controller or similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, budgeting and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Criteria
• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience in ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Experience working within a growing SME or fast-paced commercial environment
• Experience improving finance systems, processes or reporting procedures
• Knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems
• Experience supporting audits, statutory accounts or year-end processes
• Previous experience managing or supporting junior finance staff
