Construction Director

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a growing construction business with the recruitment of a Construction Director.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Leeds.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and performance of construction projects across the business.
• Oversee operational, commercial and project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Support business growth and help develop long-term operational strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, profitability and commercial risk.
• Lead senior managers and support the development of wider teams.
• Ensure strong health and safety, compliance and quality standards are maintained.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, delivery and client satisfaction.
• Support new business activity and the securing of future projects.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Construction Director, Operations Director, Project Director or senior construction leader.
• Strong background within the construction sector.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and senior teams.
• Strong commercial and operational understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, project performance and commercial risk.
• Strong understanding of health and safety and construction compliance.
• Ability to support business growth and develop client relationships.
• Confident operating at senior leadership level.
