Commercial Account Handler Job | Liverpool

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established insurance brokerage with the recruitment of a Commercial Account Handler.

Permanent, full-time position based in Liverpool.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handle policy renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business enquiries.
• Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations and suitable levels of cover.
• Prepare insurance documentation and ensure client records remain accurate.
• Build strong long-term relationships with clients and insurance providers.
• Respond to policy queries and provide professional advice and support.
• Negotiate renewal terms and support clients throughout the insurance process.
• Work closely with Account Executives and wider broking teams.
• Ensure all activity is completed in line with FCA requirements and internal procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler, Commercial Insurance Broker or similar.
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Experience handling renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Confident communicating with clients and insurers.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience with commercial combined, property, liability, motor fleet or similar policies would be advantageous.
• CII qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
