FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established architectural practice with the recruitment of an Architect.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team working across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

Salary

£38,000–£48,000, depending on experience + Excellent Benefits

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

Flexible and hybrid working can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage architectural projects through the design, planning and construction stages.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and design documentation.
• Develop creative and practical design solutions in line with client requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate planning and Building Warrant applications.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant building regulations and professional standards.
• Support junior members of the architectural team where required.

Skills & Experience

• ARB-registered Architect.
• Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice.
• Strong technical and detailed design experience.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of UK planning processes and building regulations.
• Strong design, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively across several projects.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
