Production Supervisor (Food / FMCG)

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established food manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Production Supervisor.

Permanent, full-time position based in Birmingham, working Tuesday to Saturday.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production activity across the manufacturing site.
• Lead and support production operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure production schedules are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor quality, output, waste and overall team performance.
• Allocate labour and resources across production areas.
• Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Work closely with quality, engineering and warehouse teams.
• Identify and resolve production issues quickly.
• Support training, performance management and development of production staff.
• Drive continuous improvement across production processes.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or similar.
• Background within food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced production environment.
• Proven experience supervising production teams.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Confident managing KPIs, productivity and operational targets.
• Good organisation and problem-solving ability.
• Flexible approach to working Tuesday to Saturday.
