FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established engineering business with the recruitment of a Technical Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.

Salary

Up to £70,000, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical function across engineering projects and operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
Review designs, specifications and technical documentation.
Ensure engineering work is delivered to the required quality and compliance standards.
Support project delivery from design through to completion.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters.
Resolve complex engineering issues and support continuous improvement.
Manage technical risk and ensure appropriate engineering standards are maintained.
Support the development and mentoring of engineers and technical staff.
Work closely with senior management on technical strategy and business growth.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Design Manager or similar.
Strong technical background within engineering.
Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical functions.
Good understanding of engineering design, compliance and project delivery.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Confident communicating with clients and senior stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team-development skills.
Relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous.
Chartered status would be beneficial but is not essential.
