Finance Manager – Manufacturing

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Finance Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Liverpool.

Salary

£50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function and support senior management with financial decision-making.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, margins, stock and operational performance.
• Support costing, variance analysis and profitability reporting.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee VAT, audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Develop and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Work closely with operational and production teams to improve business performance.
• Manage and develop members of the finance team.

Skills & Experience

• Previous Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar experience.
• Strong manufacturing experience.
• Qualified, part-qualified or experienced QBE candidates considered.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Good understanding of stock, costing and manufacturing environments.
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams.
• Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills.
