Civil Engineer

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a growing engineering consultancy with the recruitment of a Civil Engineer.

Permanent positions are available in Glasgow and Preston.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Produce technical designs, calculations and drawings.
• Work on drainage, highways, external works and general infrastructure projects.
• Assist with site layouts, levels and engineering details.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other members of the design team.
• Prepare technical reports and supporting project documentation.
• Ensure designs are completed accurately and to agreed deadlines.
• Support senior engineers and contribute to project meetings.
• Assist with resolving technical and site-related issues.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Civil Engineer or similar role.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of civil engineering design principles.
• Experience with drainage, highways or infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of software such as Civil 3D, Site3D, PDS or MicroDrainage would be advantageous.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational ability.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
