Operations Director

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a growing business with the recruitment of an Operations Director.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Aberdeen.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operational performance of the business.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to support continued growth.
• Manage and develop operational teams across the organisation.
• Monitor performance, productivity, quality and service levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and profitability.
• Work closely with senior leadership on budgets, forecasting and business planning.
• Ensure appropriate operational procedures, compliance and health and safety standards are maintained.
• Manage key client, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Support recruitment, development and succession planning across operational teams.
• Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an Operations Director, Operations Manager, Head of Operations or similar senior leadership role.
• Strong people-management and operational leadership experience.
• Proven experience improving business performance and operational efficiency.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of budgets and financial performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Confident making decisions and managing competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Experience supporting business growth and organisational change would be advantageous.
