Construction Manager

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading construction business with the recruitment of a Construction Manager.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow.

Salary

Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from start through to completion.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor programme, quality, health and safety and project delivery.
• Ensure work is completed in line with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Manage day-to-day site issues and ensure problems are resolved quickly.
• Monitor labour, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager or Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of construction-site operations and project delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• SMSTS would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
